Heated glass

The heating solution of the future is here…

We are proud to represent our heated glass manufacturer. The heated glass looks like a standard double (or triple) glazed unit, but with a control unit, all glass is connected to the electrical network. Within a double glazed unit, both glass layers have a metallic coating. The internal one creates the heat by electrical resistance and the external one reflects it back to the interior. The heat loss through the glass surface will be less than 2%! with this heating solution.

Maximum size: 2400 x 4500 mm

Some advantages with this heating solution:

  • lower engineering costs in new build

  • no maintenance

  • invisible (no radiators, no trench heaters)

  • quiet

  • clean, no more radiator leaking or valve problems

  • no more condensation on the glass surface

Options for temperature controlling:

  • simple temperature control unit

  • joint control unit (up to 16 DGU) looks like a consumer RCD switch box, max dimensions: 600x800x250 mm

  • joint control unit connected to the web, available from smartphones (mobil application will be launched soon…)

This heating solution is great for:

  • any new builds

  • heating system reconstruction

  • pubs, restaurants with bigger glass units - for effective heating when customers are sat next to the window screens and to avoid condensation on the glass surfaces

  • shopfronts (to avoid condensation)

  • spa’s, swimming pools, glass walls (to avoid condensation)

  • we can make mirrors for baths with heated layer, so you can forget the condensation on the mirror after a hot shower, even if the bathroom is still full of moisture…
